The Marmara Bodrum is the hotel in Sabaro's selection closest to Bodrum town. It overlooks the bay from Yokuşbaşı hill: St Peter's Castle, the harbour and the lanes of the old town are a few minutes away by car. It belongs to the Turkish hotel group The Marmara and is part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), an international network of independent upmarket hotels.
It is also one of the few luxury hotels on the peninsula open in winter, when most north-coast resorts have closed.
Choosing a room
Rooms measure 32 m² and sleep up to three, with a double bed or twin beds. The view makes the difference: the quiet gardens from the Deluxe Garden View Room; the Aegean and a large terrace from the Luxury Sea View Room, the best choice for a couple. For more space, the hotel has seven categories of suite, including the Bodrum Bodrum Suite, extended by a private terrace and garden; the others have names that hint at their character, from Bella Vista to Party Animal.
Dining and pool
Tuti restaurant draws on the Aegean's seasonal produce and the Mediterranean tradition of sharing at table. Tuti Bar & Lounge takes over in the evening, and the pool bar during the day. For more ideas, see food and dining.
Pets are welcome.
Exploring Bodrum from the hotel
The location is the best in our selection for seeing the town:
- St Peter's Castle, built in the 15th century by the Knights of St John, houses the Museum of Underwater Archaeology; admission is €22 from 1 April 2027, audio guide included;
- the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, costs €5;
- the Zeki Müren Museum, the singer's house, is also €5.
Boats to the coves and Orak Island leave from the harbour. See our Bodrum peninsula and museums and culture pages.
Location
The hotel is on Sulu Hasan street in the Yokuşbaşı quarter, above central Bodrum. Milas-Bodrum Airport is 38 km away, about 38 minutes by road.
Price
In October 2026, for two nights from 1 to 3 June 2027, the cheapest room was offered at €310 for two adults, breakfast included, non-refundable, all taxes included: about €155 a night. That is the lowest price in our Bodrum selection.
