Three areas in one resort
The resort is laid out around a large olive-lined pool in the heart of the Palmeraie. You enter through a long monumental corridor lit by oriental chandeliers and scented with orange blossom. Less than 20% of the site is built on; the rest is gardens, date palms, orange trees and jasmine.
Three areas share the estate, and choosing one shapes the stay.
- The main resort. Superior rooms of 27 m², on the ground floor with a terrace or upstairs with a balcony, and Deluxe rooms of 30 m² with a seating area. The decor draws on Moroccan craftsmanship: terracotta tiles, furniture, natural colours. This suits a couple or a family with one child.
- The Family Oasis, or "Ksar". An area inspired by ksour, the fortified villages of southern Morocco, with its own pool with slides and water games, and a bar serving mocktails and snacks. Rooms have two sleeping areas: the 38 m² Superior, the 48 m² Deluxe for four with two shower rooms, and connecting combinations of 76 to 86 m² for up to eight. The Family Oasis is HQE certified (Haute qualité environnementale, a French sustainable construction label).
- Le Riad, the Exclusive Collection area. In the north of the resort, Club Med's upscale enclave has suites of 42 to 84 m², with a roof terrace or private garden, decorated with emerald zellige, copper and mashrabiya screens. Residents have their own infinity pool, a bar where champagne is served from 6 pm, breakfast in the room, a concierge and priority booking at the spa and the speciality restaurant.
Rooms adapted for guests with reduced mobility are available in all three areas.
The children's day, from 4 months to 17 years
Club Med looks after children by age group, with G.O.s ("gentils organisateurs", Club Med's name for its activity staff).
- Baby Club Med, 4 to 23 months, and Petit Club Med, 2 to 3 years: early-learning games, painting, treasure hunts, naps and nursery rhymes. Both clubs cost extra and have limited places, so book them with the stay.
- Mini Club Med+, 4 to 10 years, included: cooperation games inspired by positive education, a paddling pool and pool reserved for the clubs, and a first taste of the flying trapeze and circus arts.
- Teens Club Med, 11 to 13, and Chill Pass, 14 to 17, included: games, sports, outdoor olympics, creative workshops, dance, teen-only evenings and, for the older ones, an escape game. Teens Club opens only in certain periods: 20 December 2026 to 8 January 2027, then 7 February to 5 March and 28 March to 12 November 2027.
Parents will find a baby corner in the main restaurant (purées, baby food, bottle warmers, microwave) and a travel cot in the room. In the evening they can leave the children with the G.O.s while they dine on their own; this is included for children enrolled in the club by the day or the week.
What the package covers
The all-inclusive package covers meals (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner), drinks at the bars and 33 activities. Chef Ayoub, who worked in Michelin-starred restaurants in France, blends French and Moroccan cooking.
- Restaurants: the main restaurant, indoors or on the terrace, with buffets of international and Moroccan dishes (tagine, couscous, mezze); El Kebir for Moroccan cuisine, pastilla and Essaouira fish tagine; the Gourmet Club, by reservation. From April to October, two evenings a week, a signature dinner is served in the olive grove with a live band, at extra cost.
- Bars: Le Pacha, Le Rooftop, La Rotonde, the Family Oasis bar, with its own alcohol-free cocktail list for children, and the Riad bar, for its residents only.
- Sports: 9-hole pitch and putt and driving range, group golf lessons, clay tennis courts, padel, flying trapeze, archery, beach volleyball, gym, yoga.
- Pools: the large central infinity pool, a Zen pool for over-18s, the Family Oasis pool and the Riad pool.
Extras include the Cinq Mondes spa (a French skincare brand), set under alcoves around a pool among century-old date palms; green fees on nearby courses (Amelkis, Royal Golf, Al Maaden, Assoufid and others), booked on site at the clubhouse; riding at the Ranch behind the Riad, in three or six-day courses for adults and teenagers, or on ponies for children; and excursions, from the Agafay desert to Essaouira and the kasbah road.
Sabaro's view
For whom: families with children of all ages, especially several children of different ages; parents who want a stay where everything is organised.
Strengths: age-based childcare up to 17; the Family Oasis, with its two-area rooms and play pool; the Riad for a quieter stay; golf, tennis and circus on site.
Good to know: this is a club formula, with communal life, buffet meals and entertainment; the clubs for under-4s cost extra and have limited places.
Our advice: with children under 10, choose the Family Oasis; for a couple or parents of teenagers who want calm, the Riad Exclusive Collection, with its private pool.
