An island two minutes from the coast

Bvlgari Resort Dubai is the resort to choose for peace and quiet on an island while staying 25 minutes from Dubai International Airport (DXB). It occupies Jumeira Bay island, off Jumeira 2, linked to the coast by a 300-metre bridge that takes two minutes to cross. Al Maktoum International (DWC) is 45 minutes away.

The resort has just 101 rooms and suites and 20 villas, looked after by a 24-hour butler service, with in-room check-in. The estate also includes private residences that share the island. It has the highest score in Sabaro's Dubai selection: 9.5/10 on Booking.com (398 reviews).

Its neighbours on the coast have a different profile: Four Seasons Jumeirah Beach, larger and more family-oriented, and Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, more urban.

Two Michelin-starred tables

The Bvlgari has two restaurants starred in the 2026 Michelin Guide Dubai:

  • Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, two stars, chef Niko Romito's restaurant;
  • Hōseki, one star.

They are joined by La Spiaggia, the Yacht Club Restaurant, Il Caffè, The Bvlgari Bar and The Bvlgari Lounge. Book the two starred restaurants early. See also the Food and dining theme.

Room or villa?

Our tip: for a honeymoon, the One Bedroom Beach View Villa, with its heated pool, garden and kitchenette, a few steps from the sand. For a shorter stay, the Premium Room, for the sea view, or the Junior Suite if you want a lounge. The Bvlgari Villa, the largest, takes a family or friends, with a private cinema, an indoor hot tub and a hammam.

Spa, beach and marina

The Bvlgari Spa and Gymnasivm cover 1,700 m²: seven treatment rooms and a couples' suite, a hammam, a vitality pool and a 25-metre indoor pool. The spa holds 5 stars from Forbes Travel Guide (an American guide that rates hotels and spas after anonymous inspections), as does the hotel.

The beach belongs to the Serpenti Beach Clvb, the resort's beach club. The Yacht Clvb marina has 46 berths. For swimming rules in Dubai, see the guide to Dubai's beaches.

With children

The resort is not adults-only: Little Gems Clvb brings together two kids' clubs with a supervised pool. The villas, with their gardens and pools, suit families who want space.

For a honeymoon

A secluded island, a butler, villas with pools steps from the beach, two starred restaurants and a large spa: the Bvlgari is one of the first Dubai addresses Sabaro suggests for a honeymoon. See the Honeymoon theme, and the desert region to add a few nights in the dunes.

Sabaro's view

Who it suits: honeymooners, couples, food lovers, and families renting a villa.

Strengths: the island and its calm; two starred restaurants; villas with pools; a 1,700 m² spa with a 25-metre pool; 5 stars from Forbes Travel Guide in 2026, two Michelin Keys (the Michelin Guide's hotel distinction) and Condé Nast Traveler's 2026 Gold List; a score of 9.5/10 on Booking.com.

Good to know: it is one of the most expensive resorts in Sabaro's Dubai selection; you need a taxi to see the city. Checked in October 2026 for a March 2027 stay, the Superior Room cost around €1,340 a night for two, free cancellation until 22 February, taxes and fees included according to the source, with a possible per-night tourism fee on top. For the 2026 regional situation, see the regional situation guide.
