A Tuscan village on the golf course
Address Marassi Golf Resort is the first Egyptian hotel of Address Hotels + Resorts, a luxury brand of the Emaar group, the Dubai developer behind the Marassi estate. It opened in 2020, at kilometre 129 of the Alexandria to Marsa Matrouh road.
The architecture draws on the Tuscan countryside: a low building in earthy tones, rough stone and wood, surrounded by fairways. The hotel has 48 rooms and suites, with 82 serviced apartments alongside. Its neighbour, Al Alamein Hotel, has 189: this small size is the point: the quiet of a small hotel at the heart of an estate that gets very lively in summer.
Rooms look onto the golf course, the pools or the estate's landscape. The Junior Suites add a living room, a dining area and a kitchenette, useful for a week-long stay.
The course
Marassi's 18-hole course was designed by the studio of golf architect Peter Harradine. It has an academy, a driving range and a clubhouse, and offers group, private and family lessons. In January and February 2026 it hosted the Egypt Golf Series, part of the MENA Golf Tour, the professional tour of the Middle East and North Africa.
The hotel sells golf packages that include several rounds, driving-range access and a golf cart. Sabaro recommends golf in spring and autumn, when the north coast is less hot than in high summer and the estate quieter.
Pools, spa and restaurants
The hotel has two outdoor pools set among greenery: a family pool and a long lap pool. There is also a heated indoor pool at the spa. The Spa at Address has seven treatment rooms and a couples' room with a jacuzzi; treatments include a scrub with salt from Siwa, the Western Desert oasis. The sauna, steam room and gym are free for hotel guests; massages are charged. The Qix Club welcomes children, and a hair and beauty salon completes the facilities.
The hotel has five restaurants and lounges. Breakfast, included, is served at Nooraï, the Address brand's signature restaurant, mixing Mediterranean and world cooking. Links is the golf bar and lounge, sports-themed, with food; Blé is a French-style café with pastries; the Pool Lounge serves light bites by the pool.
Golf or beach: Marassi's two hotels
The hotel has no beach of its own. Guests have reserved access to the beach of Al Alamein Hotel, its neighbour on Sidi Abdel Rahman Bay, reached by golf cart provided by the hotel.
Both belong to the same group, and the choice depends on the stay you want:
- Address Marassi for golf, the quiet of a small hotel and the pools;
- Al Alamein Hotel to live on the beach, in a 1960 hotel with retro decor, water sports and a kids' club by the sea.
For a family beach holiday in July or August, Sabaro leans towards Al Alamein; for couples or golfers, the Address.
