The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort is Muscat's resort for food lovers: 250 rooms and suites facing the sea and Al Mouj Golf, thirteen restaurants and bars including several big international names, a butler available at any hour, and a Guerlain spa. Forbes Travel Guide (the American guide that rates luxury hotels) gives it four stars. St. Regis is one of Marriott's luxury brands.

Thirteen places to eat and drink

No other hotel Sabaro has chosen in Oman offers as much: nine international names and four of the hotel's own venues.

The butler

It is the St. Regis tradition: butlers on call 24 hours a day, led by executive butler Ibrahim Mabrouk, look after guests' requests throughout the stay. In-room dining also runs around the clock.

Suites more than rooms

The resort has 201 rooms and 49 suites, with sea or city views, in a navy, white and tan palette inspired by superyachts. For a couple, the Caroline Astor Suite has a private terrace over the Sea of Oman. Families and long stays should take a duplex suite, with one to three bedrooms, a full kitchen, a private plunge pool and direct access to the resort pool; the John Jacob Astor Suite, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeps up to six.

Guerlain Spa

The Guerlain Spa has 11 treatment rooms, a sauna and a hammam, with separate lounges for men and women. The signature "Legend of Incense" treatment combines face and body rituals scented with Guerlain's Oud Nude. See also spa and wellness.

Al Mouj Golf

The hotel looks over Al Mouj Golf, a seaside course designed by Greg Norman. See golf. The resort is about 12 km and 20 minutes from Muscat International Airport; the Grand Mosque is 20 minutes away and Muttrah half an hour or more. See our Muscat page.

With children

The Family Traditions programme offers children and families guided tours, cultural workshops and creative activities at the Adventure Hub, the children's space. The duplex suites, with kitchens and private plunge pools, work well for families. For a hotel built around children, the neighbouring Kempinski Hotel Muscat has a kids' club, bowling and lower prices.

Price

In October 2026, for a two-night stay in March 2027, the cheapest room cost about €470 a night for two adults, room only, taxes and fees included, with any local taxes extra.
