Olympos Lodge

Olympos Lodge is the place for a beach stay in a natural setting, far from the big resorts of Antalya. The hotel occupies a large tropical garden that starts at the foot of Mount Olympos and follows a river down to the sea. Fourteen white-painted rooms are scattered through the greenery; the whole garden is reserved for hotel guests. The young staff almost match the guests in number.

A garden on the beach

The garden makes the place: palm trees for breakfast in the shade, paths for evening walks under the stars, and a sauna among the trees. At the end lies the long beach of Çıralı, one of the last on the coast where loggerhead turtles nest, with no high-rises or big resorts. The ancient site of Olympos closes off the bay to the south; you can walk there along the beach.

The rooms

The rooms are heated and air-conditioned, so you can come out of season. The six types run from the Double Room, the simplest, to the Super Deluxe Double Room, the largest of the rooms. A couple who wants to be apart will choose the Lake House, a separate house.

The website gives neither room sizes nor detailed amenities. Breakfast is included; the hotel restaurant serves the other meals.

Around the hotel

• The ancient site of Olympos, at the end of the beach, is open daily from 8 am to 7 pm local time; entry will cost €11 from 1 April 2027. Olympos beach lies inside the site.
• The Chimaera of Yanartaş, natural flames rising from the rock, is a walk above the village; go up at dusk.
• Phaselis is about half an hour away by road, and the Tahtalı cable car, which climbs to 2,365 m, about 50 minutes.

Location and access

Antalya airport is 95 km away, about 1 h 30 by road; Antalya's old town, Kaleiçi, is 79 km away. Kaş is 122 km away, just under two hours, for those continuing west along the Lycian coast.

Season

Average highs on this coast, measured at Finike, run from 26 °C in May to nearly 35 °C in July and August, then 27 °C in October; the sea is above 25 °C from June to October. May, June, September and October are the best months for the beach and for walking.

Price

Priced at €750 for two nights from 1 to 3 June 2027, i.e. €375 a night for two in a Double Room, breakfast included. This is also the rate the hotel showed on its website in October 2026 for that room; the Deluxe and the Lake House were at €490 a night and the Super Deluxe at €590.

Who it suits: couples and families who want the beach, peace and quiet, and ruins within walking distance, in a small-scale hotel.

Highlights: the guests-only garden, the turtle beach, Olympos on foot, the sauna.
