Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum is the most complete resort on the peninsula. It climbs an olive-planted hillside above Cennet Koyu, "Paradise Bay", on the north coast, about twenty minutes' drive from Bodrum. The MICHELIN Guide has awarded it a Key, its distinction for hotels, and the Forbes Travel Guide (the American guide that inspects luxury hotels) rated it Five-Star for the fourth year running in 2026, the only resort in Bodrum at that level.

A village on the bay

Architecture and interiors are by Antonio Citterio, Patricia Viel & Partners: locally sourced olive-coloured marble, stone and wood, and large windows facing the sea. The estate has 109 rooms, suites and villas, plus apartments with one to six bedrooms for long stays and families.

Choosing a room

The first choice is garden or sea: Garden View Rooms, in the quiet heart of the estate, all have a terrace, while Sea View Rooms look over the bay. For a honeymoon, a Mandarin Junior Suite or a Sea View Suite adds a plunge pool on the terrace. The two-bedroom Oriental Suite has its own hammam; the villas, from one bedroom upwards, all have a private pool; the Mediterranean Villa adds a kitchenette.

The spa

The spa covers 2,700 m²: six treatment rooms including a couples' suite, three beauty rooms, six outdoor cabanas, hammams with private scrub rooms and an indoor pool. A gym, Pilates, yoga and personal training complete the offer. See also our spa and wellness page.

Sea, sport and children

The resort has four outdoor pools, one of them for children, and an aquatic centre offering scuba diving and water sports. There are three tennis and three padel courts, a jogging path around the bay, and gulet or helicopter trips. Families can take two- or three-bedroom apartments, some with a pool (see family).

The sea in front of the hotel is around 23 °C in early June and 26 °C in August.

A dozen restaurants and bars

The resort brings together about twelve venues: Hakkasan, ROKA, Gigi Bodrum, Maison Revka, GAIA, Ferdi Baba, Sofra, the Blue Beach Club & Bar, the Pool Bar & Restaurant, the Mandarin Bar, the Hafız Mustafa 1864 patisserie and Vakko L'atelier for desserts. For more ideas, see food and dining.

Location

The resort lies on Cennet Koyu bay in Göltürkbükü, on the peninsula's north coast. Bodrum, its castle and the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus are about twenty minutes away. The nearest airport is Milas-Bodrum. See our Bodrum peninsula page.

Price

In October 2026, for two nights from 1 to 3 June 2027, the Garden View Room was offered at €1,880 for two adults, breakfast included, cancellable until 2 May, all taxes included: about €940 a night. The hotel is seasonal, so check opening dates if you plan to travel early in spring or late in autumn.
