Divan Gaziantep is the Divan brand's hotel in Gaziantep, the large city of south-eastern Turkey known for its food and its Roman mosaics. Divan, a Turkish hotel and restaurant brand, designed it as a contemporary city hotel, for business trips as much as for discovering the city. It stands apart from the old houses of the centre through its 5-star comforts: indoor pool, spa, round-the-clock room service.
Gaziantep is in a province that several European foreign ministries advise against, to varying degrees. The Gaziantep and Şanlıurfa page gives the advice for your country.
Rooms
The hotel offers four categories, all with city views, desk, laptop-size safe, minibar, tea and coffee set and pillow menu. For a few nights, a Superior Room is enough, and it can take an extra bed. The suite separates bedroom and living room; for a long stay, the One-Bedroom Apartment, one version of which has a kitchen, is the right choice.
The hotel has accessible rooms, wheelchairs, and a lift serving the spa and pool.
Pool, spa and services
The spa combines a hammam, a sauna and a steam room, with an indoor pool and an indoor children's pool; a gym completes the facilities. Room service runs 24 hours a day, with laundry, dry cleaning and valet parking. Wifi is free throughout the hotel, as is parking for guests.
The hotel also presents itself as "cyclist-friendly": bike storage, washing and repair area, suggested routes, a dedicated menu and charging points for e-bikes.
Restaurants
The hotel takes its inspiration from the cooking of Gaziantep and gives it its own twist. There is the Divan Pub Gaziantep and a Lobby Bar.
Location
The hotel is on Sani Konukoğlu Boulevard, in the Şehitkamil district, about 4 minutes by car from the Zeugma Mosaic Museum. Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out by noon, local time. Children up to 6 stay free in their parents' room; from 7 to 12, they get a reduced rate. Pets are not allowed.
Price
In October 2026, for two nights from 1 to 3 June 2027, the cheapest room, a Standard with city view, was offered at €310 for two adults, about €155 a night, taxes included, without breakfast and non-refundable. With breakfast and free cancellation, Booking.com showed about €195 a night.
Sabaro's view
Who it suits: travellers who want the comfort and services of a large hotel, a pool and a spa, rather than the charm of an old house.
Strengths: the indoor pool and hammam; the large suites of 54 and 56 m²; the closeness of the Zeugma museum; a score of 4.6 out of 5 on Google, from nearly 4,900 reviews.
Good to know: this is a modern city hotel, on a main boulevard; the number of rooms is not published. For an old mansion at the foot of the citadel, see Asude Konak.
