Key facts

SIDATTES (International Date Fair in Morocco) is held every autumn in Erfoud, in the palm groves of the Tafilalet, at harvest time. It is organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and the International Date Fair Association (ASIDMA). The 14th edition, from 29 October to 2 November 2025, covered 40,000 m² with more than 230 exhibitors and a 3,000 m² market called the "Rahba".

The 2024 edition ran from 29 October to 3 November.

Good to know

  • Desert road: Erfoud is on the road to the Erg Chebbi dunes at Merzouga; the fair combines well with a night at a desert camp.
  • For visitors: the fair is mainly professional (growers, processors, suppliers), but the Rahba lets you taste and buy the country's date varieties.
  • Season: in late October, temperatures in the Tafilalet are milder than in summer.
