Seyr-i Cennet means roughly "the view of paradise". These mountain houses were designed for people who want to sleep far from noise, in nature, above the Fırtına valley. They are run by a Çamlıhemşin family that has run the Yeşilvadi restaurant in the village since 1990, before opening this address. The property holds a tourism licence from the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

## Nine units, each with its jacuzzi

The hotel has nine suites and bungalows, all with a **jacuzzi**, most with a **fireplace**, and all with a balcony and views of the mountain and valley. Headboards and armchairs are carved from dried logs. Each unit has air conditioning, a safe, a fridge, a TV and hot water around the clock.

For a couple who want space, the King Suite and the Royal Suite are the largest, and an extra bed can be added. With a child, the two Queen Suite bungalows add a single bed to the double. The Premium Suites are wooden bungalows; the two suites with jacuzzi are the smallest.

For a honeymoon, the house decorates the room with balloons and candles at no extra charge, if mentioned when booking.

## A Black Sea breakfast

**Breakfast is included**: it features muhlama, the highland cheese melted with cornmeal, and eggs with pastırma, the spiced cured beef. Tea and coffee are free all day, with the house's small treats.

## Location

The houses are on the Ayder road, 5 km from the village of **Çamlıhemşin** and 15 km from the **Ayder** plateau, the gateway to the Kaçkar Mountains. **Zil Castle** is 15 km south of Çamlıhemşin, in the Fırtına valley. Rize-Artvin airport is 35 km away; the hotel offers a paid transfer, and the road is tarmac all the way to the car park. Sumela Monastery and Lake Uzungöl are reached via Trabzon, a little over two hours away. The [Black Sea highlands](/en/turkey/black-sea-highlands/) page covers the region.
