## Closed for renovation until early 2027

Park Hyatt Dubai has been closed since May 2026 for a renovation. In spring, the Emirati press reported six months of works and a reopening in November 2026; on 19 October 2026, the hotel's own website gives an anticipated reopening in the first quarter of 2027. Sabaro goes by the hotel's date.

In practice, no stay is possible before 2027, and the first weeks after a reopening are often when restaurants and services are still settling in. For a spring 2027 trip, Sabaro reconfirms the reopening date, the room and the rate before booking anything. The description below is the hotel as it was before the works: rooms, restaurants or the spa may change.

## A golf resort on the Creek

The Park Hyatt sits on the banks of Dubai Creek, the inlet the city grew up around, in the Port Saeed area of Deira. It shares its grounds with Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, a waterside golf course and marina. Its low-rise buildings are laid out around gardens, pools and the marina.

Two things set it apart from Dubai's other resorts. The first is location: ten minutes from Dubai International Airport (DXB) according to the hotel, about 2.5 km from Deira City Centre mall and about 9 km from Bait Al Wakeel on the old-town side of the Creek. You stay somewhere quiet without leaving the Creek, the souks and the historic Al Fahidi quarter behind; see [Old Dubai](/en/dubai/old-dubai/). The second is golf on the doorstep: hotel guests get free use of the neighbouring club's driving range, putting green and mini golf.

The resort has no sea beach: its two "beaches" are landscaped lagoons by the Creek. For sea and sand, head to the [Jumeirah](/en/dubai/jumeirah/) coast or see the guide to [Dubai's beaches](/en/guides/plages-dubai/).

## Two lagoons, two crowds

The hotel splits its swimming areas by age:

- **the Lagoon Beach Club**, a 100-metre infinity lagoon for guests aged 16 and over, with its own restaurant;
- **the Family Lagoon**, for stays with children;
- **a 25-metre pool** with four whirlpools and a children's play area.

A kids' club rounds off the family side. Couples after peace and quiet book a room opening straight onto the Lagoon Beach Club; families take a suite on the Family Lagoon.

## Which room to choose

All 223 rooms and suites have a balcony or terrace. The entry rooms, named after their bed type on the hotel's website ("1 King Bed", "2 Twin Beds"), look over the Creek marina and suit a couple wanting a quiet city stay. A couple without children is better off in the Lagoon Beach room, whose patio opens straight onto the Lagoon Beach Club; a family in the Family Lagoon Beach Suite, with patios on the Family Lagoon and breakfast included. The Park Terrace Suite, the hotel's signature suite, adds a large terrace with sun beds facing the marina and the city skyline.

## Restaurants and bars

The hotel lists seven venues on its own grounds: NOÉPE, The Thai Kitchen, Brasserie du Park, the Lagoon Beach Club restaurant, The Lounge, the Pool Bar and Lakeview Terrace. Three more, Boardwalk on the marina, QD's Bar & Grill and Jones the Grocer, are at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club next door. The line-up may change with the renovation; Sabaro will check it when the hotel reopens.

## Spa and fitness

Amara Spa is the hotel's spa, and the gym is open around the clock. The golf club next door adds the driving range and putting green; tee times are booked with the club. For golf holidays in Dubai, see the [Golf](/en/themes/golf/) theme.

## Sabaro's view

**Who it suits**: golfers, families wanting a calm resort close to the airport, and travellers who would rather stay near old Dubai than among the towers on the coast.

**Strengths**: golf on the doorstep; two separate lagoons, adults-only and family; rooms of at least 52 m², all with a balcony or terrace; ten minutes from the airport, handy for a longer [Dubai stopover](/en/guides/escale-dubai/).

**Good to know**: the hotel is closed until its announced reopening in the first quarter of 2027; there is no sea beach; its 9.2/10 score on Booking.com (1,078 reviews) dates from before the works. Checked in October 2026 for a March 2027 stay, the rate was around €700 a night for two, taxes and fees included according to the booking site, with a possible per-night tourism fee on top; it needs reconfirming.
