Olympos Mountain Lodge is the place for those who prefer the mountains to the beach, and a fine table to a buffet. The lodge is at Beycik, a village perched 900 m up on the slopes of Mount Tahtalı, the ancients' Olympos, among pine, juniper and cedar. From here the view takes in the Mediterranean, from sea level to the summit of Tahtalı at over 2,300 m. The Michelin Guide lists the hotel in its selection.

## Eight units in an olive grove

The lodge spreads over 10 dönüm, about a hectare, of garden and olive trees. It offers eight units. The chalet with fireplace, the largest, is a detached house with a living room and a terrace facing the sunset: the one to choose for a long stay. The cabin, also detached, suits those seeking seclusion.

The units are spread across the grounds, which gives each plenty of space and quiet. The bar and lounge has a large fireplace. A therapist gives massages by appointment. Rates are bed and breakfast.

## The Rabbit Hole

**The Rabbit Hole** restaurant is the reason many guests come. Chef Mehmet Ali Börtücene and his team serve a tasting menu every evening that changes daily, in a relaxed fine-dining spirit, using local and seasonal produce from the mountains and the sea with minimal waste. There is no à la carte menu at dinner: the tasting menu must be booked in advance. By day, a menu of small dishes covers lunch. The restaurant also holds wine evenings and weekend brunches.

## Walking from the lodge

Lycian Way tracks run around the village, through forests and past waterfalls and plateaus. The lodge is a good base for walking in spring and autumn, the recommended seasons for the Lycian Way. The beaches of Çıralı, Olympos and Phaselis are half an hour away by road; the Tahtalı cable car, the Chimaera of Yanartaş and the Olympos site are covered on our [Olympos and Çıralı](/en/turkey/olympos-cirali/) page.

## Location and access

The lodge is in the municipality of Kemer, in the village of Beycik. Antalya airport is about 1 h 30 by road; a car is almost essential to enjoy the beaches and sites. Mountain roads also lead to little-known coves for those with an off-road vehicle.

## Season

At 900 m it is noticeably cooler than by the sea, which makes summer more bearable than on the coast, where highs approach 35 °C in July and August. In spring and autumn, the fireplaces in the lounge and the chalet come into their own.

## Price

Price on request: no rate was shown for our reference dates, 1 to 3 June 2027. Sabaro will pass on the lodge's offer and can book the tasting menu with your stay.
