Maçakızı is the hotel people associate with Türkbükü, the most sought-after bay on Bodrum's north coast. The MICHELIN Guide, which lists it, describes it as a stylish, sophisticated luxury hotel that would make hoteliers on the Côte d'Azur or the Greek islands jealous. People come for Türkbükü's beach life as much as for the room: days on the bay, evenings at the table.

## A beach on Türkbükü bay

The hotel rises in levels above the bay, and its beach is the heart of the stay. Türkbükü bay is sheltered, on the peninsula's north coast, and the sea is around 23 °C in early June and 26 °C in August. A wellbeing area completes the picture. See also our [beach](/en/themes/beach/) page.

## Choosing a room

There are eleven categories, from garden rooms to Villa Maçakızı; several rooms and suites come in a renovated version. The Standard Garden Room, on the middle level, is close to the action; the Sea View Suite adds a separate lounge and a balcony over Türkbükü bay. In between, the sea-view rooms and Junior Suites are a good compromise for a couple who want the bay in sight. For families and groups there are two-bedroom villas, duplex or suite, and Villa Maçakızı.

## Three restaurants

- **Maçakızı Restaurant**;
- **CafeMed**;
- **Ayla by Aret Sahakyan**, chef Aret Sahakyan's restaurant.
