La Badira is the Hammamet hotel for a grown-up stay: 130 suites reserved for guests aged 16 and over, all facing the bay, on a small headland north of the resort. It is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, or LHW, an international network of independent luxury hotels, and it is the highest-rated of our Cap Bon hotels, at 4.7 out of 5 on Tripadvisor (2,672 reviews).

## Suites only, from 45 m²

La Badira has suites only, decorated in an Oriental style drawing on local craftsmanship, in shades of white and beige. The range falls into three levels. The 45 m² suites make up most of the hotel: the view of the Bay of Hammamet is what sets them apart, and only the Suite Yasmine has a bathtub, the Fell suites having a shower open to the bedroom. For a honeymoon or an anniversary, the Suite Nour adds a living room and a terrace with an outdoor hot tub above the sea. The six Legend suites, each dedicated to a figure linked to Hammamet (Leïla Menchari, Claudia Cardinale, Jean Cocteau, Georges Sebastian, Wallis Simpson and Paul Klee), are for a once-in-a-lifetime stay; the Suite Claudia Cardinale has its own private pool above the sea.

## Chef Ramzi Bouguila's kitchen

The kitchen is led by chef Ramzi Bouguila. The hotel has three restaurants and a bar:

- **Kamilah**, open from noon to midnight, local time;
- **Adra**, closed on Mondays;
- the **Beach Grill**, on the beach, from June to September only;
- the **Pool Bar**, by the pool.

The hotel publishes a dress code for its restaurants, which Sabaro sends with your confirmation.

## Spa by Clarins and two pools

The Spa by Clarins brings together treatment rooms, hammams, a fitness room, a herbal-tea room, a hair salon, pedicure and a nail bar. Its heated, semi-covered indoor pool faces the sea, and makes swimming possible from November to April. The large infinity pool looks out over the Bay of Hammamet. See also [spa and wellness](/en/themes/spa-and-wellness/).

## What changes with the seasons

The hotel is open all year; only the Beach Grill is seasonal, from June to September. The sea is warmest from June to October: around Hammamet, its average temperature rises from 22.5 °C in June to 27 °C in August and stays above 24 °C in October; it is 15-16 °C from January to April. In winter, daytime highs are 16-18 °C, and the hotel presents its Legend suites, including the Claudia Cardinale with its fireplace, as made for fireside evenings. In July and August, the [Hammamet International Festival](/en/events/festival-international-hammamet/) stages its shows in the amphitheatre of Dar Sebastian.

## Location

The hotel occupies a small headland in Hammamet Nord. Enfidha-Hammamet airport is about 55 km away, and Tunis-Carthage about 75 km, an hour's drive on the motorway. The Hammamet medina and its kasbah, open 8.30 am-6 pm in winter for TND 8, about €2.40, and Dar Sebastian, the 1920s villa that is now an international cultural centre, make a half-day visit. Neighbouring Nabeul has an archaeological museum rich in Roman mosaics from ancient Neapolis. For the region, see our [Hammamet and Cap Bon](/en/tunisia/hammamet-cap-bon/) page.

## Prices

In October 2026, for two nights in March 2027, the cheapest suite was offered at about €115 a night for two adults, breakfast included, with free cancellation, all taxes included. Tourist tax is extra and paid at the hotel: TND 12 per person per night, about €3.60, for up to ten nights, or TND 24 a night for a couple, about €7.
