Kuum is the Türkbükü hotel that most fully embraces the bay's party side. The MICHELIN Guide, which lists it, describes a hotel that is anything but modest: striking contemporary architecture, an enormous spa, several seaside restaurants and DJ-fuelled nightlife. The arrival options on offer, from yacht to helicopter and private jet, say the rest.

The hotel belongs to the Turkish group TuncelGrup. It describes itself as a 52-room boutique hotel and spa; the MICHELIN Guide counts 64 rooms.

## The spa

The spa is Kuum's centrepiece: the hotel presents it as award-winning, with a fitness room. The MICHELIN Guide calls it enormous: a good reason for a getaway in May or October, when the bay is quieter. See also [spa and wellness](/en/themes/spa-and-wellness/).

## Beach and sea

The hotel's beach club is on Türkbükü bay, sheltered on the peninsula's north coast. The sea is around 23 °C in early June and 26 °C in August. Kuum also has its own yacht for trips to the peninsula's coves. See our [beach](/en/themes/beach/) page.

## Dining and evenings

The hotel has a main restaurant and **Natsu**, a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant (cooking on a hot plate in front of guests). In the evening, the DJs take over: this is the hotel to choose for Türkbükü nights without leaving the hotel.

## Rooms

The hotel offers rooms and suites, including Executive Rooms. The website gives few room sizes: Sabaro confirms the category and view when you enquire.

## Location

Kuum is on Atatürk avenue in Türkbükü, on the bay. Gölköy and Maçakızı are close by. The nearest airport is Milas-Bodrum. See our [Bodrum peninsula](/en/turkey/bodrum/) page.

## Sabaro's view

**Who it suits**: couples and friends who want the spa by day and a lively scene at night; travellers arriving by yacht or helicopter.

**Strengths**: a very large spa; the beach club on Türkbükü bay; the hotel yacht; the Japanese restaurant Natsu.

**Worth knowing**: a Google rating of 4.3 out of 5 (988 reviews); evenings are lively, not for those seeking quiet.
