Ortahisar is the quietest village in the heart of Cappadocia, clustered around a rock pinnacle riddled with chambers, the "middle castle". Hezen Cave Hotel occupies cave houses climbing the hillside. The MICHELIN Guide describes it as a European design hotel transplanted into a Cappadocian cave: eclectic interiors, stone walls, contemporary comfort and deep silence.

## Twenty rooms, four types

The standard cave rooms give you the cave experience at a moderate price. For a couple staying several nights, the suite adds a separate living room. For a honeymoon, the Superior Cave Suite, with its hammam bathroom, looks onto the garden and the castle; families have suites of their own.

Bottled water is complimentary, wifi is free, and a self-service drinks room is open day and night.

## Restaurant and terraces

**Hezen Restaurant** serves regional cooking inspired by Anatolian recipes, with vegetarian and vegan dishes, facing Ortahisar Castle. The hotel's terraces look out over the village and its castle.

## Services

The hotel arranges airport transfers, balloon flights, day tours and other activities. Cots, car seats and pushchairs are lent on request. A laundry room with an iron is available to guests.
