Casa Dell'Arte is first of all a home. Twenty-five years ago, Fatoş and Yunus Büyükkuşoğlu discovered Torba, then an unspoilt fishing village, while looking for somewhere to grow old. They built a villa there that is at once a holiday home, a gallery for the art collection gathered over thirty years of travel, and a twelve-suite hotel. The MICHELIN Guide, which lists it, spotted Turkish masterpieces, Fabergé eggs and even a Botero.

## Twelve suites, twelve signs

Each suite is named after a sign of the zodiac, and each has its own contemporary Turkish works from the owners' collection. The view is what sets them apart: the garden, the pool or, from the second floor, Torba bay. Our pick is the Sea View Suites, Taurus and Leo, for their furnished terrace facing the bay; a romantic couple may prefer a Dome Suite under its dome, and a longer stay a Duplex Suite, with separate bedroom and living room. Gemini and Pisces are wheelchair-accessible.

## The pool, the jetty and the sea

The house has a pool looking over Torba bay and a jetty where guests settle on cushions for the day. The hotel also has its own yacht for trips to the peninsula's coves. The sea is around 23 °C in early June and 26 °C in August.

## Cotto Sul Mare

The hotel restaurant, **Cotto Sul Mare**, is its fine-dining table. See our [food and dining](/en/themes/food-and-dining/) page.

## Weddings and events

The hotel hosts weddings and receptions.

## Location

The hotel is on İsmet İnönü avenue in Torba, on the peninsula's north coast, north-east of Bodrum town. St Peter's Castle and the old town are a short drive away. The nearest airport is Milas-Bodrum. See our [Bodrum peninsula](/en/turkey/bodrum/) page.

## Season

The hotel is seasonal; opening dates are confirmed on request. In early June the average high in Bodrum reaches 32 °C; June and September are the most pleasant months.
