Allium is a small resort: just 38 rooms and suites, spread across eight villas on a Yalıkavak hillside. They look out over the Aegean and the Greek islands, and the sunset sets the tone of the day. The MICHELIN Guide, which lists it, praises a care for detail that stands out on a peninsula full of large developments.

## The Allium gardens

The hotel takes its name from the *allium*, a flower that symbolises luck and prosperity, planted at the heart of the garden. The gardens pay tribute to the "Fisherman of Halicarnassus", the writer Cevat Şakir Kabaağaçlı, who brought seeds from all over the world to Bodrum: native and exotic plants mix across a 13-acre hillside.

## Choosing a room

Rooms are decorated in pastel tones with shabby-chic furniture. For a couple, the Deluxe Balcony Sea View Room is the best choice, with its balcony over the gardens, the hotel beach and the sea; the Deluxe Garden Sea View Room opens straight onto the garden. The suite, with separate bedroom and living room, suits a longer stay, and the 4 Bedroom Pool Villa, with a kitchen and heated private pool, takes a family or friends, up to eight people.

## Pool, beach and spa

The infinity pool is heated, which makes it pleasant from spring into autumn, and is surrounded by private cabanas. Below, the hotel has its own beach in a cove. A spa completes the picture. See also [spa and wellness](/en/themes/spa-and-wellness/).

## The Cliff

**Cliff Bodrum Restaurant & Bar** serves modern Aegean cooking from fresh, organic produce, from breakfast to dinner, with views over the sea and the islands. The **Cliff Pool Bar**, by the pool, takes over during the day and at sunset.

## Location

The hotel is in Geriş, on the hills above Yalıkavak, a few minutes from the marina and its restaurants and shops. Milas-Bodrum Airport is 54 km away, about 52 minutes by road. Bodrum and its castle are on the other side of the peninsula. See our [Bodrum peninsula](/en/turkey/bodrum/) page.

## When to go

The hotel is seasonal. In early June the average high in Bodrum reaches 32 °C and the sea is around 23 °C, rising to 26 °C in August. September keeps the sea warm with milder days.

## Price

In October 2026, for two nights from 1 to 3 June 2027, the Deluxe Garden View Room was offered at €780 for two adults, breakfast included, cancellable until 17 May, all taxes included: about €390 a night.
