# Aliée Istanbul

Aliée Istanbul opened in 2025 in the workshops of the former Ottoman imperial arsenal of Taşkızak, on the north shore of the Golden Horn. The French group Paris Society's hotel has 99 rooms and suites, the 4,000 m² Well+ spa with pool and hammam, nine restaurants and bars, and a children's area. Rates start at about €760 a night in June.

Aliée Istanbul is the newest hotel in our Istanbul selection. It opened in 2025 in the old workshops of **Tersane-i Amire**, the imperial arsenal founded on the Golden Horn after the conquest of Constantinople in 1453. Carpenters, tailors and dyers worked side by side there; under Sultan Mahmud II, in the 19th century, the tailors' workshop made the uniforms of the reform era. The hotel belongs to the collection of Paris Society, the group founded in 2008 by Laurent de Gourcuff and known for its restaurants and clubs in Paris, Saint-Tropez, Dubai, London and the Alps.

## A neighbourhood hotel on the water

The 99 rooms and suites are spread across several buildings of the old arsenal, including the **Atelier** and the **Casthouse**. Guests can arrive by private boat at the hotel's quay. Every morning from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9 to 11 am local time, the hotel offers free coached rowing sessions on the Golden Horn.

The hotel does not allow photography or filming on its premises, except in the Living Room, discreetly and for personal use.

## Rooms and suites

The rooms follow a wellbeing philosophy: copper bathtubs, organic anti-allergenic textiles, a jet-lag kit, a pillow menu and a signature scent by Oscar Quagliarini. The rooms table details the main ones.

For a couple, the Supère Chambre in the Atelier already comes with a view of the Golden Horn. The suites are best chosen by their outdoor space: a balcony over the Golden Horn in the Belle Vue Suite, a private terrace in the Terrasse Suite, a garden with outdoor fireplaces in the Véranda Suite. The Liberté Suite, a penthouse facing the historic peninsula, is the most striking.

The Casthouse can also be booked whole: six rooms and three suites behind a private entrance, with a butler, a boat and a captain.

## Well+, nine restaurants and a kids' area

**Well+** is a 4,000 m² spa and longevity clinic on three levels: a pool, twelve therapy suites, a marble hammam, Finnish, Russian and infrared saunas, and a gym. Tailored health programmes start with check-ups (sleep, cardiovascular risk, vitamins).

Nine restaurants and bars share the hotel. **Taste by Thomas Bühner** is the restaurant of chef Thomas Bühner, who earned three Michelin stars at La Vie in Osnabrück, Germany; **Mondaine de Pariso** combines dinner and show; the **Pink Bar** opens in the evening; **Little House** serves a Sunday brunch; the waterfront **Swim Club** is the summer spot. ## Location

The hotel stands on Taşkızak Tersanesi Caddesi, on the north shore of the Golden Horn in the Beyoğlu district, facing the old city. It is part of the [Pera, Galata and Golden Horn](/en/turkey/istanbul-pera-galata/) area, a little away from the bustle of Galata. Istanbul Airport (IST) is about an hour's drive away without traffic.

## Rates

In October 2026, for two nights from 1 to 3 June 2027, the cheapest room was offered at €762 a night for two adults, €1,524 for the stay, room only and non-refundable, including taxes and fees.
