## Key facts

Visa For Music is Rabat's gathering devoted to the music of Africa and the Middle East. Every autumn it brings together concerts, known as showcases (short sets designed to introduce an artist), and a professional forum of talks and meetings for programmers, labels and tour bookers. The 13th edition runs from Wednesday 18 to Saturday 21 November 2026: the forum takes up the days, the concerts the evenings.

## The 2026 line-up

For this edition the festival received more than 900 applications from more than 90 countries and selected over 35 of them. The international selection announced includes Enzo Avitabile & I Bottari (Italy), Erol Josué (Haiti), Bruna Alimonda (Brazil), Mariaa Siga (Senegal) and Yugen Blakrok (South Africa). Moroccan acts include Gnawatronic, Meryem Aboulouafa, Jbiina, R2D, Soufiane AZ and Rita Kamale.

## Where and how to go

The concerts take place in several venues in central Rabat. In 2025 the public could attend around thirty showcases at the Théâtre Mohammed V, the Salle Bahnini and the Cinéma Renaissance, plus twelve electronic showcases on the Chellah stage. The 2026 venues and admission details are published in the festival programme.

The festival pairs well with a stay in [Rabat](/en/morocco/rabat/): the days are free for exploring the city and the concerts are in the evening. For somewhere to stay, the [Conrad Rabat Arzana](/en/hotels/conrad-rabat-arzana/) and the [Ritz-Carlton Rabat Dar es Salam](/en/hotels/ritz-carlton-rabat-dar-es-salam/) are part of our selection.
